◇12/25/01窓越しの風景
◇12/04/01Linh先生も招いてAnnieと夕食。Annie Stewartさんが10月28日から12月9日まで我が家にステイしました。我が家としても、初めての長期間ステイ受入で少し不安もありましたが、なんとか無事に終了しました。来年の春には4ヶ月間、恵がエメラルド高校にお世話になります。 Annieと最後の朝のテイータイム。

To the Myoraku Family,
Thank you for having me stay in your house this past 3 weeks.
It has been a very memorable experience and I have learnt many
things about the Japanese culture. You have all been very kind
to me and really looked after me.
Yoko, you made me lunch every day and made sure that I got
off to school alright and when I was sick you made me go to bed
so that I was well again.
Makoto, you speak excellent English and were very helpful during
my stay, tell me about Japanese traditions and making sure that
I was comfortable.
Shu and Izumi, we did not talk much but when we did, it was
always a lot of fun. You are both very funny and very kind to
me - thanks for all the Afro
Kens, I am very happy now.
Kei, you were so cool. When we played games, they always were
so much fun. You took me to many places and always made sure that
I was having a good time. You are very mischievious and you will
make many friends in Australia with your sense of humour. I can
hardly wait to see you there.
Sen, you were like the brother I never had. I will miss you
terribly and I will always be thinking of you. We had so much
fun and while I often called you "つまらない Sen", I never
meant it. I hope you go well in university - don't forget to study,
no matter what I told you, it is one of the most important things
that you have to do. I hope to see you next year and if not, don't
forget that you promised we would go to Canada together one day!!
I don't know what to say now, how about my Top 5 moments in Japan?:
5. Pro wrestling
4. Karaoke (stayin' alive, stayin' alive)
3. Hearing Sen say Australian swear words
2. Seeing the look on Sen's face when he found out what those
words meant
1. HANABI!!
Another thing that must rate a mention is tonight's dress up game.
Drawing on each other's faces was lots of fun and I have not laughed
so much for a long
time. I am sure that I have missed plenty of things here but I
will be back next year so don't worry, I'll tell you then.

○8/2--7/2001 恵、久米南町教育委員会主催、オーストラリア研修に参加。Kei's first trip to Australia.
○８月３日（金）から６日（月）まで、水島家と一緒に沖縄へ。

○5/2/2001○Rockが5年ぶりに我が家に来て一泊。Rock1. Rock2.10月にはガールフレンドも連れてくるらしい。
○4/14/2001○ALTと話そう第3回。Linh先生とSindu先生、それに児玉家4名、我が家6名、途中、山本家親子、終わり頃には福田家親子、それに私の後輩の竹田君、合計18名が参加するという、賑やかな会でした。
